#54 Egypt
For Egypt night, we made:
A style of Hummus that has been made in Egypt since the 14th century;
Mahlab, a flatbread;
Salata Balati, with tomatoes and cucumbers; and
Koshari, the national dish of Egypt, with lentils, rice, pasta, chickpeas, fried onions, and two types of tomato sauce.
Sam’s dad was visiting, making this (I think), the 8th time we have cooked with others. He really seemed to enjoy the Egyptian food.
