#55 El Salvador
For Salvadoran night, we made:
Pupusas, filled with beans, cheese, and loroco;
Chirimol salsa;
Beans and carrot rice;
Yuca Frita with Aji Verde sauce;
Elotes Locos; and
We also bought some Curtido (slaw) and fruit- and custard-filled Empanadas from the Salvadorean Bakery in White Center, and our friends Jenny, Ian, Elsa, and Vivi came over.
