For Lithuania night, we made:
🥣 Šaltibarščiai, a cold beet/buttermilk soup
🥒 Gaivios agurko ir pomidorų salotos su fetos sūriu, a cucumber/feta salad
🥔 Cepelinai, potato dumplings filled with mushrooms
🐟 Žuvies kukuliai, pan-fried fish dumplings
I’m not gonna lie: this meal was not delicious. I assume, as always with a flop, that we bullocksed up the recipes. Maybe these were hard recipes for first-timers? Who knows. I bet Lithuanian people eat better than this most of the time.
